Meet Our Doctors

Dr. David Lukof Dr. Lukof grew up in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania and received his BS in Animal Science from the Pennsylvania State University. He received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. He practiced for two years in Hazelton, Pennsylvania before founding the Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in 1983. Dr. Lukof lives on a farm in Pennsburg and in his spare time he enjoys the outdoors. |

Dr. Richard Paulding Dr. Paulding received his BA from the University of Richmond, a Masters Degree in Zoology from the University of Vermont and his Veterinary Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a classmate of Dr. Lukof. He practiced small animal veterinary medicine in Danbury, CT from 1981 to 1997 and he has been a partner at Harleysville Veterinary Hospital since 1997. He has a special interest in surgery and medicine. He enjoys cycling, cooking and travel. |

Dr. Paul Wagner Dr. Wagner grew up in Warminster/Warrington, PA. He graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA in 1992. Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 1996. After three years practicing in Hollywood, Pennsylvania he joined the Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in 1999. He then became a partner in 2008. Dr. Wagner's interests are in exotic animals, mainly ferrets and other small mammals. He currently lives in Perkiomenville with his wife and four children. |

Dr. Walter Stutz, Jr. Dr. Stutz graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Animal Science and received his VMD from University of Pennsylvania. He joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in 1989. He enjoys golfing during his free time. |

Dr. Meredith Brown Dr. Brown received her BA, with a concentration in neurobiology, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. She has been associated with Harleysville Veterinary Hospital for 17 years. Her professional interests include surgery and behavior. She currently enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. |

Dr. Shannon Hawkins Dr. Hawkins received her BS in Biology and a BA in Behavior Neuroscience from Lehigh University in 2003. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. She has been associated with Harleysville Veterinary Hospital since her graduation from veterinary school. She currently enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs and three cats. |

Dr. Kristy Walter Dr. Walter received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She enjoys working with all species including exotics. Dr. Walter grew up in the Green Lane area, where she now resides with her husband, dog and two cats. |

Dr. Michael Reese Dr. Reese grew up in Harleysville and graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1998. He received his BS from the University of Delaware in 2002, an MS from the University of Massachusetts in 2005 and a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in June 2009 and he currently lives in Philadelphia and has one dog and two cats. |

Dr. Jonathan Gonzalez Dr. Gonzalez graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in July 2009. His interests are surgery, radiology and small animals. He enjoys basketball, jogging and the outdoors. |

Dr. Patrick Kelly Dr. Kelly grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the University of Scranton for his undergraduate work. He then received his V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2010. He joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in August 2010 and he currently lives in Lansdale. He enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and two dogs. |

Dr. Greg Bogle Dr. Bogle grew up in Doylestown, PA. He received his B.S. in Biology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He then went on to receive his V.M.D from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2012. He recently joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in June of 2012. While not at work, Greg enjoys fishing, experimenting in the kitchen and watching Philadelphia sports. |

Dr. Amy Alivernini Dr. Alivernini graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BS in Biology and earned a Masters Degree in Lab Animal Science from Drexel University. She received a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania and joined Harleysville Veterinary Hospital in August 2012. She likes hiking, reading and hockey, especially the Flyers! She currently lives in the Collegeville area with her husband and 3 dogs. |
